Indian quiz game – When you play Muqaabla, you have to answer picture-based questions which will test both your general knowledge and your thinking ability.
With other ‘quiz’ and ‘trivia’ games in Indian quiz game market; we at team Muqaabla knew one thing. We needed to be different to stand out. But that is easier said than done.
We started by preparing a huge database of questions based on general knowledge and even asked a small audience to test it. While we got positive feedback, we realized we could make the game more interesting. Answering general knowledge –based questions would hook in people to play the game for sure, but could we add anything extra?
Picture –based questions: We then decided to make the gameplay interesting by moving from a basic game with text questions and four options to choose from, to making the questions visual –based. Readers would be shown a picture and then asked a question based on it. Studies have shown that people are more attracted to visuals than plain text. The question could be one of general knowledge, not dry and boring facts, but interesting bits of information that would intrigue a player. There would also be some ‘trick’ questions where the answer is not obvious but requires one to think ‘out of the box.’ So if you are playing the game you will not only be testing your general knowledge but tickle the gray cells in your brain. Sounds cool right?
A hint to get to going: Each question will start off with a hint that will set you thinking and after answering it you will get to know if your answer is right or wrong. You will also get to see the number of people who chose each of the options given. Further, whether you have given the right or the wrong answer, we will show you the right answer with an explanation of the answer. This will help you know more on a topic and also show you whether the way you cracked a trick question was right or wrong.
